It Has Been Long Overdue: Progress Photos

You know, I am getting close to one year on this blog and I have yet to upload any progress photos of my own fitness journey. It is overdue. Hopefully, I am able to make up for lost time with this post.

Back in May of 2018, I was tired of my own bs and knew something needed to change. I was so unhappy with myself, who I was, and where both my body and health were going. Today, I am so proud of that decision. Never did I think that I would be where I am now: mentally, emotionally, and physically happy, healthy, and strong. I am excited to see where I will be three years from now.

Small changes do lead to big results when you continue to practice them every day. Choices are powerful and when you look ahead (or even back) can determine where you will be (or where you are). Support and community are also very, very important. I would be lying to say that I did not have any outside support as well (thank you to my boyfriend who has watched and supported me every day through this ongoing transformation).

Do remember that it does start and end with you because, at the end of the day, you have the power. Combined with patients (because any good thing takes its sweet, sweet time), you can reach your goals. All that it is about is the consistency and discipline to take small steps to better yourself every day: your mind, your health, your body. It all goes hand in hand. Remember that it is a lifestyle and a journey. Do it for you.
